As I look back I can see how my life has been enriched by the different streams in Christianity. My journey with Spiritual Direction began during my years as a Baptist Pastor with Contemplative Practices nourishing my God relationship.
Theological training at Laidlaw and Carey Colleges have been part of my formation.
I am currently involved in a Faith Community (Baptist Church) in West Central Auckland
Approach to spiritual direction
I see Spiritual Direction as entering a sacred space shared with a directee in the presence of God. I can then be a companion with them on their spiritual journey through life.
I bring a background in nursing, counselling, pastoring, and intergenerational family life to my direction.
I am currently involved in a Community Trust serving a low socio-economic area and am learning Te Reo.
