Lew Marsh thanked Bev for the work she has done over 6 years on the ACSD Exec, here are some of his reflections
I first came to know of Bev over 60 years ago when our family started visiting the Pohangina Valley. Bev was part of Whitehead whanau who were farming in that area. It’s been a long time since I’d seen Bev, but then in about 2010 our paths crossed again as we entered the world of SGM and ACSD, and now I have had the privilege of working with Bev these last two years on the Executive.
Bev has had considerable time involved in spiritual direction and supervision having completed her SGM training in the mid 1990’s and then offering spiritual direction and supervision since that time.
Now Bev has completed six years of valuable contribution on the Executive and we will miss not only her input into discussion and decision making, but also her lovely morning teas at Miramar. Bev was always willing to get involved, even when technology pushed her boundaries. So despite her reservations, she has taken to Zoom like a duck to water.
