An opportunity has arisen for a couple or individual to be appointed into a leadership role for our staff team. This position will be unpaid, however, would provide the appointee(s) with accommodation and food.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role the applicant(s) would have solid leadership skills, be comfortable with community living, and have a heart for healing ministry.
Our approach at Titoki requires our staff to be spiritually mature, able to conduct regular worship services, and be ecumenical.
A servant-leadership style, that provides pastoral care for the team, will facilitate a harmonious working atmosphere where the healing and successes of our staff and guests are celebrated.
We are looking for applicants that can build on the rich 40-year history of Titoki Christian Healing Retreat Centre in Whakatāne and help continue our approach of a warm and welcoming manner that puts hospitality at the forefront of all that we do. Appointees will contribute to our ongoing vision of providing spiritual formation events, retreats, debriefing for cross-cultural missionaries, and providing a place for missionaries to stay.
Experience in ministry, spiritual direction, and/or counselling would be assets in this role.
Like all appointees at Titoki, the successful applicant(s) will be required to do a three (3) months novitiate to confirm their appointment. We are looking for applicants that can fully commit to their time at Titoki.
