Religious background
I was raised in the Presbyterian tradition, which shaped my early faith.
Over time, my journey has deepened through spiritual formation and contemplative practice. I remain grounded in the Christian story, while offering a space that is open, gentle, and attentive to each person’s unique experience of God.
Approach to spiritual direction
While Spiritual Direction is centred on your relationship with God, it can be helpful to know who is walking alongside you. You can call me Col.
I trained as a Spiritual Director with Spiritual Growth Ministries. My work life has spanned youth ministry, community development, social entrepreneurship, and hospice work.
I have been following Jesus for over 35 years, and like most, my journey has included both mountain-top moments and deep valleys.
Spiritual Direction, for me, is not just a role — it is a calling. I feel drawn to accompany people, especially at the thresholds of life, where things become honest, tender, and sacred. It is in these spaces that I seek to offer presence, peace, and gentle care for the soul
As well as Spiritual Direction, I also lead retreat spaces and pilgrimage journeys.
