Sam Bate

Sam is an Anglican priest and has been in various parish leadership, chaplaincy, pastoral and other ministry & mission roles.

He is currently chaplain for an aged-care facility. Sam is thoroughly trained and qualified in theology (Btheol), pastoral care (CPE) and Spiritual Direction (SD). He also runs a ministry called ‘Fresh Faith’ which is designed to provide a safe and confidential space for any adult wishing to explore their faith outside of a formal or usual church setting.

This may also appeal to anyone who may have been hurt by the Church. Spiritual Direction however, is a very specific service offered within that ministry, run along usual SD lines.

Sam is married (to Christina) and they have one adult son.
