Religious background
I am non-denominational with roots in the Presbyterian, Baptist and Pentecostal churches. I was also part of a Messianic fellowship for many years which added a cultural depth in my experience of Scripture and God. Each has added richness to my faith and life journey.
Approach to spiritual direction
Come and share how your day has been and discover God in new and surprising ways. If you feel untethered from your faith as I did, or in transition, experiencing lost and grief or just feel stuck in life, take time out to linger and attend to yourself. Find time to care for your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing with God. As a Spiritual Carer, I will listen and journey with you, to explore and discern where God may be moving in your life and what divine invitations there may be for deeper intimacy, personal growth or a new chapter or fresh beginning.
I run dream workshops and retreats and have a passion for working with dreams and visions. I enjoy and encourage the use of pictures, art, drawings, images, songs, movement, nature and scripture to explore your inner world with God in this sacred and creative space. As a Spiritual Carer the practices of prayer, worship, stillness, silence and reflection will anchor our time and journey together with God, in a safe and welcoming space.
