Religious background
I am a Catholic priest and a Cistercian monk at the Kopua monastery in Southern Hawkes Bay.
The Abbey is situated in a beautiful, relatively remote, rural area of New Zealand on a dairy farm between Dannevirke and Waipukurau, Central Hawke’s Bay.
Approach to spiritual direction
One of the most important things for me is our relationship and care for creation.
Social justice has always been important to me.
Contemplative prayer is a major element in my life, particularly Christian Meditation.
Scripture also forms an important part of my contemplative prayer life.
