Religious background
My Christian faith formation has been through a medley of denominational experiences, Brethren, Baptist, Community Church and Anglican. I have lived and worked for various periods of time throughout my life in UK, India and NZ, so culturally have a depth of understanding of a variety of cultures, people groups and what it’s like to work cross-culturally.
I am a Ceramic Artist and Art and Dance Teacher who loves encouraging others in their creative pursuits and also in using the Arts to offer a space for God to move and work in and through us.
Clay is my preferred medium and I offer workshops, quiet mornings and retreats (occasionally throughout the year) where the arts are widely used.
Approach to spiritual direction
I love to offer a variety of creative practices within Spiritual Direction, both one-on-one and in small groups. I’m continually amazed at how God meets people when enagaging our senses creatively, especially through touch, visually and by listening.
